Seussical The Musical was created by the duo of Stephen Flaherty(Music and Book) and Lauren Ahrens (Lyrics and Book) with the help of Eric Idle (of Monty Pyton fame) who based the musical on some of Dr. Seus's favorite childrens books. Kitsap Forest Theater's dynamic duo of Craig Schieber (director) and Guy Caridi (choreography) was suppoted by longtime Player Gail Foster as music director. Margie Kluth who just came off of costuming Godspell to make the many stunningly colorful costumes for this show. Debbie Valenta was the Keyboardist/Synthesizer Orchestrator.
The cast was a combination of KFT veterans like Bryan Hanner (Jojo), Nathaniel Jones (Horton the Elephant), and Ashleigh Emmons (Gertrude) and some outstanding 'new to Kitsap' actors, such as Peter Nolte (Cat in the Hat), David Roby (Mr. Mayor), Katie Beudert (Mrs. Mayor), and Lily Davis (Mayzie La Bird). Mick Etchoe got to paint himself completely green as the Grinch, while Walt Foster was able to bringing out his innner martinet as General Schmitz. 
This musical was amazing for featuring so many people in one show. Even the youngest in the cast, Grace Tapia, got to show her stuff as Baby Kangaroo.
